National Novel Writing Month

Launched in 1999, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a nonprofit effort that encourages people to try writing a novel in a single month.

Sound impossible? Thousands of writers tackle the challenge each year! To get started, visit nanowrimo.org.

Come and get inspired at these CADL events, part of the Write Michigan project.

Come Write In

Volunteers from NaNoWriMo will be
here to encourage aspiring authors to
work on their projects. Bring your
enthusiasm and your work-in-
progress—we'll provide table room
and outlets for your electronics. Feel
free to bring snacks if you like.
