Board Members
Capital Area District Libraries is governed by a seven-member board, appointed by Ingham County and the City of Lansing.
The board is composed of four residents from Lansing or Lansing Charter Township; one resident from the Meridian Charter Township; and two residents from the balance of the county.
This breakdown is based on population and state equalized valuations of the seven-member districts.

Special Meeting Notices:
A special meeting of the CADL Board will take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 5:30-7:00 pm for a Strategic Planning Board Focus Group. The meeting will be held in the Board Room on the 3rd floor of the Downtown Library.
A special meeting of the CADL Board will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for a Strategic Planning Committee & Board Retreat. The meeting will be held in the Galleries on the Basement Level of the Downtown Library.
