Friends of the Library

Each of our 13 branches is supported by a Friends of the Library group, made up of volunteers who work tirelessly to fundraise and advocate. They maintain used book collections, run book sales, plan fundraisers, contribute refreshments for special events, and support library endeavors in dozens of other ways.

Friends members also serve as advocates and ambassadors. They share the message with fellow citizens that libraries play a vital role, and that access to information and lifelong learning are at the heart of a community's success.

Get great bargains on books, DVDs. CDs, puzzles and more, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Leslie Library. Today only, Library Friends are invited to a pre-sale from 12-1 p.m. Annual memberships are available at the door ($1 for students, $5 adults, $10 family). Held in Woodworth Elementary Cafeteria, 212 Pennsylvania Street.
