Friends of the Library
Each of our 13 branches is supported by a Friends of the Library group, made up of volunteers who work tirelessly to fundraise and advocate. They maintain used book collections, run book sales, plan fundraisers, contribute refreshments for special events, and support library endeavors in dozens of other ways.
Friends members also serve as advocates and ambassadors. They share the message with fellow citizens that libraries play a vital role, and that access to information and lifelong learning are at the heart of a community's success.
A Friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of Nature.
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
