Friends of the Library

Each of our 13 branches is supported by a Friends of the Library group, made up of volunteers who work tirelessly to fundraise and advocate. They maintain used book collections, run book sales, plan fundraisers, contribute refreshments for special events, and support library endeavors in dozens of other ways.

Friends members also serve as advocates and ambassadors. They share the message with fellow citizens that libraries play a vital role, and that access to information and lifelong learning are at the heart of a community's success.

Get great bargains, with proceeds benefitting the Friends of the Leslie Library. Pre-sale for Friends members from 2-4 p.m. (memberships available at the door); Open to all from 4-7 p.m. Held in Woodworth Elementary Cafeteria, 212 Pennsylvania Street.
