In-person Research

About the Forest Parke Library & Archives

While the majority of the collections are housed in the Downtown Lansing branch, our entire geographic service area in Ingham County, as well as some surrounding areas and Michigan history in general, are covered in the materials that we collect. Some branches maintain small local history collections relevant to their immediate areas as well. And every day we add more material to our Local History Online collection.

We are located on the Lower Level of the Downtown Branch, Capital Area District Libraries, at 401 South Capitol Avenue in Lansing, Michigan, 48933.
