Computers & Internet

A core service of the library is access to technology, and expert assistance to master it.  The following services are available at all 13 CADL branches.

Computers

CADL provides no-cost computer access on a first come, first served basis for patrons with library cards in good standing. Cardholders may use computers up to 180 minutes each day the branch is open.  Visitors may use guest passes or Express computers for 30 minutes each day.  Please read our Computer Use Policy for more information.

Wireless Internet

Wireless Internet access is available at no-cost at all 13 branches and the Mobile Library. A CADL library card is not required. Learn more about how to connect your device.

Printing

CADL offers both black & white and color printing.  Black & white prints are 15¢ per page; color prints are 50¢ per page.  Prints can be sent from a library computer at any CADL branch, or use our Print from Anywhere service from your own device on the library's wireless or at home to send a print job to a printer at select CADL branches.

Raising Readers iPads

Raising Readers iPads are geared for children ages 3–8. Available at all CADL branches, the iPad is loaded with apps designed specifically to help children develop the five practices of early literacy—Read, Write, Sing, Talk and Play. The apps help children sound out and write their letters, make music, make up stories on a virtual “flannel board,” put on a tea party and more. Be sure to explore this fun new tool the next time you visit the library!
