We said goodbye and hello to staff…

  • Page Patricia G. retired, and Assistant Julie K. is leaving for new adventures.
  • While they’ll be missed, we’re excited to welcome Kat W. to the Assistant position! Keep an eye out for even more new faces.

We saw so many friendly faces…

  • In June alone we had 1,674 visitors! Said one library user her first time back, “This feels like Christmas morning!”

Our communities gathered in the park…

  • We enjoyed many summer programs in the beautiful Glenna Droscha Park, including Craft Days, Book Discussions, Storytimes, and a special visit from Potter Park Zoo.
  • A crowd favorite was Howell Nature Center’s Owl program, which included live owls!

Speaking of our communities…

  • We partnered with Potter Park Zoo on a new display, featuring rocks our members painted!
  • Our members created dog and cat toys for their furry friends at home and at the Ingham County Animal Shelter and dropped off donations for them.
  • We partnered with the Greater Lansing Food Bank to provide food packs to anyone in need this summer.

We would love to have you visit us again soon!
