Go Wild for March Is Reading Month at CADL

March Is Reading Month is one of our favorite times of year, as you might have guessed 😉

Our chosen theme this year is Wild About Reading, and we’ve planned a whole month of nature-inspired fun, hands-on learning and lots of ways for folks of all ages to explore books and big ideas.

All Month

Our branches are running fun, reading-inspired activities the entire month of March:

  • All Branches: Celebrate March is Reading Month with some fun literacy activities. Complete a bingo to earn a small prize!
  • CADL Haslett: Grab a March Is Reading Month Bingo card for a chance to win a prize! Complete your card and turn it in at the branch.

  • CADL Williamston (Ages 0–10): Follow clues, explore your library and discover books and resources along the way.

Year-Round Reading Fun

March Is Reading Month is a great excuse to build some new habits that last all year:

Storytimes and Playtimes: Bond with your child through stories, crafts, music and more. Our expert storytellers use the five practices of early literacy to build a lifelong love of reading. Find a storytime near you.

StoryWalks: Follow a children’s story page by page along an outdoor trail at any of our 13 StoryWalk locations. It’s reading, fresh air and a walk all rolled into one. Find a StoryWalk.

Book Clubs: There’s a book club for everyone at CADL! Find your next great read and a welcoming group at a branch near you.
