Webberville rolls out Student Service

We’re excited to announce that Webberville is the first Capital Area District Libraries branch to launch a new program called Student Success. The goal is to help local students access library services and resources more easily.

Working with Webberville schools and ISD, CADL staff has set up library accounts for all Webberville students in grades K-12. It doesn’t matter where the student resides—anyone enrolled in a Webberville School is automatically enrolled. Instead of keeping track of physical cards, students can access library materials simply by using their school account number.

Jeannette Kiernan, Principal at Webberville Elementary, says that her school “is excited to support CADL’s Student Success cards. We know that every student gaining access to all of the library's great resources will support their literacy growth and development.”

If your student already has a CADL card, no worries—now they will have both a personal card and a Student Success account! Call or stop in any time if you have any questions about this new program.
