Capital Area District Libraries summer events across Ingham County, including the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge. The Buzz with Buzzitta is our weekly rundown of upcoming free programs at our 14 CADL locations, hosted by Mark Buzzitta.
This week:
- Tuesday, August 4, 10:30 am at CADL Aurelius: Crazy Craig’s Juggling Variety Show. Enjoy non-stop action and audience participation, amazing juggling, tricks on unicycles, balancing acts, and so much more!
- Wednesday, August 5, 11 am at CADL South Lansing: Animal Encounter with Preuss Pets. Enjoy a fun animal tale and then meet real animal ambassadors with a special guest from Preuss Pets.
- Friday, August 7, 4 pm at CADL Okemos: End of Summer Reading Party. Join us for dino games and dipping dots! Dipping dots are limited to the first 100 kids.
- Saturday, August 8, 1 pm at CADL Foster: Celebrate a summer of stories with a foam-filled end to our prehistoric summer adventure! We will have hands-on activities and an epic Foam Party from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and Dippin' Dots!
