Together At Last

Midwestern acoustic rock...

Together at Last is the first of Wilco frontliner Jeff Tweedy’s solo albums, and he pulls a good number of songs from the back catalogues for the track list.  Tweedy goes acoustic here and the sound and the overall mood is spare, intimate, laid back, and feels very Midwestern.  This is the kind of music that suits the grey days that frequent our region in the fall, winter, and spring.  Some standout tracks include Via Chicago, Laminated Cat, Muzzle of Bees, and Ashes of American Flags - but they're all good. Do you have an album that is your “go to”?  The one you’ve listened to the most?  Well, this one’s mine.
