The Starving Saints

Creepy miracles with a side of nuns and knights

I know I've said it before, but I'm not a huge horror fan. I have found out that I am a fan of weird horror and that is perfectly on display in The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling. Set in Medieval times, nuns, knights, and regular people find themselves under siege with limited supplies. When miracles begin, food supply is no longer a concern. Until...people find out where the food is coming from.
Starling has an attention grabbing writing style and truly interesting characters. I found myself staying up late to finish chapters because i couldn't handle the suspense. This is in horror more for some gory materials than for scariness.
