I could feel the sincerity on every page, and the love in every kind word and gesture pushed Quill's way. His grief, the struggle, the loneliness-- it all felt so real to me, and every punch of the story hit home.
Don't worry though, this is not a sad book. Okay some of it is sad, and his dad is a piece of garbage, but care and community win out alright? I promise. Just like they always do.
