The Hobbit

One of the greatest voice actors alive narrates a classic adventure tale

Andy Serkis's rendition of "The Hobbit" may just be the best way to experience the tale. Unsurprisingly, nobody does a better Gollum than him, but the real surprise is how well he voices Gandalf, Bilbo, Smaug, the dwarves, and just about everyone else. Fans of the Jackson movies will especially appreciate how closely he imitates the movie versions. He does an excellent job at narrating with a dramatic flair, and his rhythmic delivery of the songs feels like real music even when there is none.
