This book looks at the cultural and political significance of Benito A. Martínez Ocasio. It looks at Puerto Rico’s history but focuses on the late 1990s and after and the recent colonial politics that have influenced Bad Bunny’s voice. You get a quick history of Reggaetón, they  talked about hurricane Maria in 2017, the mass protests in 2019 calling for and resulting in the resignation of PR’s governor Ricardo Rossello after a racist/homophobic text chain between him and his cabinet was leaked. Ultimately, it’s a fascinating study of Puerto Rican resistance. This really works as an audiobook.
