Elektra

A retelling of the Trojan war told from the perspectives of the prominent women of the time.

The House of Atreus carries a curse which leads to the Trojan war, and this time around, we'll hear the stories of three women involved.  Cassandra, a pained princess of Troy who begged the god Apollo for the gift of prophecy.  Clytemnestra, a vengeful queen who loathes her husband, King Agamemnon, for a blood sacrifice.  And Elektra, Clytemnestra and Agamemnon's forlorn daughter whose blind faith in her father festers inside her during his long absence.  It's about time that the women got to speak.
