If you love committing to the bit and humor that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this is the perfect movie for you. Wet Hot American Summer is a criminally underappreciated gem from the early 2000s and arguably my favorite comedy of all time. The story is a quirky satire of the 80s summer camp movie genre with an all star cast including Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, Molly Shannon, Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Meloni, and more. I watch this at least once every summer and it still makes me laugh!
