Dinner in America has become one of my favorite movies. I think I've watched it 10 times in the last year and insist on showing it to all of my friends. Never has a movie created characters that I identify with so heavily. This movie is laugh-out-loud funny, shot in Detroit (and rich with midwestern culture), and punk as hell. Good luck watching this without adding new phrases to your lexicon. "You need to take it down a notch," will remain forever in my daily rotation. Dinner in America is a love letter to those who don't quite fit in well anywhere. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie!!!
