As someone who actually did enjoy reading Shakespeare in high school but definitely did not understand what he was talking about half the time, I really appreciated this middle-grade retelling of ten of his plays. I’m telling everyone this should be required reading in high school! It’s accessible and fun and definitely helps with understanding the references in classic romcoms… She’s the Man? 10 Things I Hate About You? All thanks to Shakespeare.
