Tim Curry has played roles in films that shaped my early life: Clue was a family movie night favorite, every Halloween my sister and I watched the made for TV movie The Worst Witch, Rocky Horror was the first midnight show I went to, his version of Pennywise scared me beyond belief, and who doesn’t love Muppet Treasure Island? And then there’s his voicework, perfectly showcased in this audiobook. Vagabond is the compelling story of Tim’s life and his experiences from childhood to the present. It was very interesting to get the behind-the-scenes details from his point of view and it made me realize how broad his talents are. My only complaint is that I wish the book was even longer – I could’ve listened for many more hours.
