Haymitch is a mess for good reason.

Having read The Hunger Games, when I heard that prequels were coming out, I had to read them.  I decided to listen to Sunrise on the Reaping, and I did not regret it.  This gave Haymitch, who we met in The Hunger Games trilogy, new depth, and gave me more understanding of his character.    Honestly, after all he went through, I'm surprised that he ever left the bottle.  Great, but extraordinarily, tragic story
