The Second Grave

The second installment the Chicago K-9 series and I already can't wait for the third!

I've read several books by this author and my favorite part is how he splits most of his stories into two perspectives.  You read the events through the eyes of both the detective crew and the perpetrator.  It's really fascinating to get the rationale of how the crime is being solved and also the criminal's justification of why the crime was committed.  This is also the author's second series where cadaver dogs are a main component and as far as I'm concerned, all things are improved when you add dogs into the mix.
