Sing Sing

A beautiful film so full of humanity in the face of an inhumane system.

Sing Sing is a powerful (and true!) story that follows a group of incarcerated men in a theater program at Sing Sing prison in New York. The film centers around two of the men who are at odds in nearly every way, including in their views on the program. We sit in on a season of their lives, as they both prepare a performance for the facility and navigate the flawed justice system. This movie is so heartbreaking and beautiful and inspires hope against hope. It’s an absolute must see!
