Twigs re-invents herself in this sensual, techno inspired album

Starting as lyrics scribbled on the back of Twig's hand at a rave in Prague, EUSEXUA transports you the scene with techno and electronic influences. But what is "eusexua"? It's a word coined by Twig's herself, describing it as a state of being so euphoric one can transcend the human form. Throughout the album, Twigs sings about varying forms of freedom and vulnerability - the ease of a "perfect stranger", the exhaustion of holding trauma in your body but craving to be intimately known, and how "opening [her] feels like a striptease". One of the album's standouts is "Childlike Things" featuring North West - a campy and refreshing freedom of childhood, rounding out all the different ways "eusexua" can be experienced.
