A refreshing read for difficult times

Remember, historically, America is a nation of immigrants.  However, in recent years some want to vilify migrants to our country.  This book’s subtitle accurately describes the gist of its content: “what we can learn from newcomers to America about health, happiness and hope.”  Originally published over a decade ago, it is even more relevant today.  I loved this book because it provides concrete examples of how various immigrant groups have brought certain traditions and practices to our country that have the potential to be adapted and adopted by other Americans to enhance quality of life and well-being.
