The Laziest and Most Endearing Protag-kun and the Greatest Dragon

Despite being about a dude who just wants to chill for the rest of his life, this book packs in an awful lot of action. It’s a dynamic story that doesn’t pull its punches but still manages to feel lighthearted, fun, and maybe even almost cozy. It doesn’t take itself too seriously but is engaging and intricately plotted. Not to mention it has some of the most hilariously endearing characters I’ve read in a good long while.

I would recommend this for those who love dragons, fantastic places, magical people, meta-commentary, protagonists who are desperately trying to not be protagonists, and/or a refreshing and witty fantasy read that doesn’t skimp on plot (in somehow the most chill way possible).
