Wonderfully haunting and horrific

This is truly an ode to the gothic horror genre! Ellen Hutter is the obsession of ancient vampire Count Orlok, and he won't let anything or anyone stop him from getting to her. The cinematography is amazing and really brings you into the dark and eerie atmosphere of the film. It pays homage to the 1922 film of the same name through the use of shadows and rich scenery, but definitely goes further into the horror. If you loved the original Nosferatu, Dracula, or films like Crimson Peak, you'll love this rendition of the vampire tale.
