It's vampires and they're black!

This debut had me hooked from the first chapter. The descriptions and imagery are beautiful, raw and haunting and gives you an Enemies to Lovers trope where both characters feel like they’re on equal footing. Girma does such a wonderful job of incorporating Ethiopian and East African folklore and creating a world of vampires that feels refreshing and new!
