Finally, a writer who understands the heart of Moon Knight! (Yes, you can fight me about the Lemire run. I know it’s very popular. I hate it. Anyway, this review isn’t about that run.)

The neighborhood-level stakes give time for a nuanced connection between characters and an exploration of the Moon Knights’ motivations and mindsets. This run hit the sweet spot for me between a serious, well-thought-out plot, self-aware humor, and good ol’ comic book quips. 

Make it all the way to the very spoiler-y titled final volume for a beautiful, tragic, and heartwarming conclusion. (In true comic book fashion though, this plotline continues in the “Vengeance of the Moon Knight” run, which starts with every team member getting a full-issue therapy session. So... read that too!)
