Vita Nostra

“It cannot be explained, only understood.”

The main character Sasha goes through such an intense and confusing metamorphosis that it feels as if you’re going through it with her. Reading passages of the texts that she is studying and finally understanding them after so much time, only to learn something new that changes everything that you thought you understood. At some point you almost accept that everything you’re reading makes sense because it doesn’t make sense, but that becomes part of the fun; trying to figure out what’s going on. All of this to say that this book is very enjoyable and that if you’re looking for something that feels confusing and difficult but still massively entertaining, then Vita Nostra is for you!
