Never has a cookbook changed my life so profoundly.

I'm not a cookbook person, generally, but this book is jam-packed with more than recipes: guidance on grocery shopping, food storage, budgeting, meal prep, and nutrition. Based on a U.S. SNAP allotment of $4.00 a day, this budget recipe book takes a thoughtful approach at the issue of food insecurity while maintaining a spread of satisfying entrées, snacks, desserts, drinks, and more. For anyone who struggles with money, eating healthy, or is neurodivergent, I am pleading with you to pick this book up. It has a unique history as well, being crowd-funded to make it to print. A PDF version is available on many local government websites. This proved to me that you don't need a lot of money to eat well. I'm telling you, it's life-changing. If you want your own copy, the PDF is available for free on MSU's website!
