Haunting Melody is a mysterious fantasy that casts the spotlight on queer teens in themes of mental health and PTSD. The main character, Melody, seems like an actual moody teenager (despite some of the fantastical elements). The story kept me guessing as to "whodunit," and there are plenty of other surprises along the way. Haunting Melody is a fun and fast paced book, definitely good for weekend reading.
