Cujo may have rabies - but he is a good dog

Terrifying isn’t even the right word. After seeing the film many years ago, it seemed to be a simple dog gone wrong story. Reading it showed so much depth in character development and story. Cujo isn’t just a dog who got rabies and died. Cujo is a good dog – who happened to get rabies. Even when he was attacking the woman, he didn’t want to – because Cujo is a good dog. King tells the story from Cujo’s point of view and I’ve never been more wrapped up in an animal story.
