Women without children still have roles to play
This was an interesting (though American centered) cultural history of both reasons people do and don’t have children. The were a number of fascinating examples throughout and I felt a good emphasis on how recent the concept of the nuclear family is. It felt particularly appropriate in a time when certain politicians have attempted to pit the two groups of women against each other. This was a nice introduction into a subject I’d be interested in exploring more.
