Failed Houseplant Parents Rejoice – This Book May Actually Help You!

I am a person who has, historically, struggled to keep houseplants alive. So, I checked out several books aimed at just that. 

I found this one to have the best balance of not overwhelming with a lot of advanced information while also providing me with enough actionable details that I could reasonably accomplish. I think the selection of plants included was helpful here as well; they do for the most part seem like ones tailored to those who are just starting out (or have experienced frustration in the past), or who want live houseplants but lack a lot of time to invest in the enterprise. 

The style of the writing is approachable yet concise, and while there are generally only one or two images per plant (processes and instructions have more), the images provided were large, clear, and helpful.
