A lifetime of secrets

Holding is a small-town murder series with a bit of a twist. Garda Sargent PJ Collins is a man, who tries to avoid people, he fills his days with comfort food and half-hearted police work. In a quiet village in West Cork Ireland, local builders discover human remains at a farmhouse they are demolishing, and he is called on to the site. The farmhouse belongs to the Burke family, raising a 20-year-old mystery of their son, Tommy’s disappearance on his wedding day. To solve the mystery, Sargent PJ Collins must gather his resolve to talk with people as he fumbles around to figure out what to do. An enjoyable, lightly comedic mystery with an imperfect human character. Available in hoopla.
