There is something indeed special about the voice of Teddy Pendergrass. If you enjoy listening to his baritone, tender yet strong, smooth voice, no need to worry, the all-time favorites are on this edition.  Recently, a young person asked me if I had ever heard of Teddy Pendergrass. Which lead to an interesting discovery on my part. I learned that although Teddy is no longer with us, his music has been introduced to a new generation through social media. Bits of his lyrics have been used to discuss light bills (Turn off the Lights), heating costs (Close the Door) and whole discussions on his life and contributions to American music through reaction videos. So, you never know how things will be discovered or rediscovered. What’s old is new.
