Murder in the skies of 1937 Europe

With civil war raging in Spain and political tensions rising in Germany, peace in Europe seems like a far cry from possible. But that is what the first European air race is meant to promote - peace and understanding between nations. When Stella North, British participant and the only female pilot in the race, witnesses the murder of another pilot in the skies above the English Channel, she is caught between the goals of the race itself and the drive to bring a murderer to justice.
