Khadija and Leene couldn’t be more different - a privileged Syrian-American high schooler who is obsessed with boxing, and a teenage Syrian refugee trying to deal with the trauma of her circumstances. When they end up being housemates, thanks to Khadija’s formidable mother, Khadija and Leene come to realize they have more in common than they thought. And when an unexpected discovery brings Leene’s past and Khadija’s future plans together, the girls have to pull all their resources together to reunite a family.
