New Kid

This is a great way to introduce yourself to a graphic novel with diverse characters.

I think anyone who is new to graphic novels or regulars readers of them will love this book.  I'm new to the genre myself and loved the artwork and pace of this book.  It brings up some great hard to start topics you can discuss with your classmates or family.  There is also a sequel.
