Brilliant Reggae form the Upsetter

Lee Perry is largely hailed as the father of the Reggae sound as we know it today.  With his rudimentary backyard studio dubbed the Black Ark he spent roughly six years recording nonstop before burning it down in a fit of rage and disappointment.   This album was released toward the end of the Black Ark period and showcases the sound Lee Perry pioneered.  It is highly experimental and off the cuff yet accessible and full of infectious reggae rhythms.  If you are looking for a piece of classic 70's reggae look no further.
