Gorgeous Film Adaptation of Thomas Savage's Complex Western

My personal favorite movie from 2021 (as well as the most nominated movie at the season's Oscars)! I'm so thrilled this got a DVD release in the end, since it's a Netflix original. Led by a career-best performance by Benedict Cumberbatch, this dramatic, mysterious, and slow-burn western has something for everyone. Jaw dropping cinematography, perfect music, and all-around flawless (Oscar-winning) slow-burn direction from Jane Campion... truly the best 2021 had to offer in film.
