The Mason House

Sometimes a particular person is our definition of home, safety, encouragement.

In The Mason House, the time the author spent with her Grandma Bertineau had an indelible positive impact on her in the midst of a turbulent childhood. I found T. Marie Bertineau's writing style to be comforting to read with a strong sense of place and detail. It reminded me of some of my own childhood memories of time with my grandma.
