Spin the Dawn

One girl's dream of being the best tailor in the kingdom leads her to the magic she thought was myth.

One thing that I loved about this book was that it did not sacrifice the main character's original dream to service the plot. While our main protagonist gets swept away in this rich journey of meeting mysterious boys, hiding her real identity, and saving her kingdom, Maia does not lose one of the core parts of her character's desire. The pacing was well done and the world-building made me want more of this fantasy world. Spin the Dawn was completely unique in its premise, and great for any lovers of The Girl King by Mimi Yu.
