Bellefleur’s follow-up to Written In the Stars can work perfectly well as a standalone

Woman flies out to Seattle to visit her best friend as a surprise, misses friend but ends up hanging out with the younger brother who had a crush on her. Instant spark, instant problem . . . She's meant to start a job in London in a month. At a crossroads and afraid to trust, she has decisions to make. But add in the backstory of Darcy and Elle and Brendan’s role in their courtship, and you get a fun romantic comedy that plays expertly with favorite tropes. I'm looking forward to whatever Bellefleur does next.
