Great 1950s period piece--A tale of police corruption and Hollywood celebrity scandal.

If you like period pieces and classic suspenseful who-done-it movies, this is for you. The pace is slower than most current action films but that goes with the time period for the film (1950s)  
It includes great character actors like Danny DeVito in a great role who you love to hate--he's a wonderful slimy character.
