Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde

A classic playful hip hop album that still holds up today

When the Pharcyde released this as their debut album in 1992 it was totally against the grain of the dominant west coast gangster rap of the day.  The songs were far more playful and light hearted and upbeat, but also very thoughtful.  It echoed the debut De La Soul album 3 Feet High and Rising but with much more straight ahead lyrical content.  With this edition you not only get the original album, but the instrumentals and remixes as well.
