A sizzling, exciting Young Adult novel

The first in a 4-book series, A Court of Thorns and Roses is a fantasy love story that is reminiscent of a variety of fairy tales.  Maas does a thorough job of describing the world in which her story takes place.  It has some fiery love scenes, sarcastic humor, and suspense.  I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am anxious to read the rest of the series.
