This was such a fun, thrilling story! The protagonists are believable and sympathetic, which is expected, but so is the antagonist, which I did not expect. I was really impressed with how Karen Rose kept the plot moving forward so quickly, while also taking the time to flesh out the characters and their relationships.

I didn’t realize this book was part of a series when I first picked it up, but it also works well as a standalone novel. (And now I have 22 new romantic suspense novels to add to my list. Win win!)
