Very enjoyable book by a great author. I liked it because it showed how libraries have been in existence in such difficult situations. Follow the lives of the women who rode for the U. S. Government in Kentucky during the 30s and 40s. Share in their dedication and friendships. Share also in the attacks on these librarians because of their diversity.
