Coconut Oil

When we write these recommendations we're asked to assign the music a genre, and that stopped me in my tracks when it comes to Lizzo: She's a gorgeous vocalist, but this isn't straight vocals. She's a rapper, but this isn't really rap. Could it be considered "jazz/blues/soul"? It's got those elements for sure. She's even a classically-trained flautist with skills on display here, so I was tempted to throw this in with the classical music. Coconut Oil defies definition; with its impossibly catchy anthems of joy and self-respect, it just makes you feel really good. Clocking in at a breezy 19 minutes, you're going to want to put this one on repeat.
